Customer built manure pump
RosierGreidanus B.V. has granted ADS van STIGT the order to deliver five Katsa gearboxes and fifteen flexible couplings. RosierGreidanus was the first company in the Netherlands to develop a fully automatic motor pump that can be used to easily pump manure.
The pump can be operated from anywhere using a tablet, meaning that less direct human intervention is required. Fuel consumption is also lower.
We will supply the Katsa KAT100691 for this application. The gearbox is derived from the L700 Series and has a 700-mm horizontal off set. There are two clutchable output shafts; one to the Cornell pump and one to the compressor. For each application, two flexible Centa Centamax 1800 couplings will be installed for the flanged connection and one Centa Flex A 028 for the free standing connection.
RosierGreidanus has chosen the Katsa gearbox because it can be adapted to suit every application. One of the main advantages of the pump unit is that it can be built to the customer’s specification. This means that the customer can use the machine optimally.
Currently, RosierGreidanus is testing the pump unit at a customer site and is getting positive reactions; it performs above expectation.
