Takeover of Verhoef EMC
Great news! Our parent company the Stokvis Group has acquired Verhoef EMC. This Sliedrecht based electrotechnical company was formerly part of PON subsidiary the Bakker Group (a.o. Bakker Sliedrecht). Verhoef EMC will be partially managed by ADS van STIGT but will operate independently.
Managing director Dave Plug of ADS van STIGT explains the reason for the takeover. “at this moment we see the interest in hybrid an fully electric propulsion systems gaining momentum, and all our customers are busy with making their businesses more sustainable. Not only for us, but for all on board power train suppliers, it is very important to keep up with this development to make sure we can provide the technology and knowledge our customers demand. For this reason we were looking to extend our delivery programme. We are very happy that we were able to strengthen ourselves in this manner, and are confident that the new combination ADS van Stigt - Verhoef EMC together with the other companies in the Stokvis Group can provide even more customer value”.
Last week the contracts were signed, and the takeover is now official. As per the first of July Mr Edwin Naaktgeboren will be appointed as General manager of Verhoef EMC.
From the ADS van STIGT team we cordially welcome our new colleagues!
