Bearing monitoring through metal-on-metal contact
Monitors all crankshaft plain bearings with a single sensor!
ADS van STIGT offers real-time condition monitoring from Schaller Automation for oil-lubricated plain bearings. The system uses the Seebeck effect, where a voltage is generated as soon as two metals, normally separated by the oil film, come into contact. Within seconds, it detects voltage changes that indicate early wear. With just one sensor, all crankshaft plain bearings are efficiently monitored, optimizing maintenance and minimizing downtime.
