Reversing gears only require a minimum of maintenance, but it is essential this maintenance is carried out when it is due, and done properly. Only then peak efficiency and reliability of the installation is warranted.

At ADS van STIGT we advise our customers to have the installation inspected at least once a year.

At 270,-* for a single reversing gear, an extensive inspection is carried out, including a test run. The inspection also includes a visual inspection , small maintenance and a lubricating oil analysis. Two reversing gears in one vessel? we inspect both for €364,-*.

When we inspect your reversing gear on an annual basis, there are added benefits. If during inspection a repair is found necessary, a 3% discount is given on the parts to be replaced. Needless to say an early discovery of a worn or damaged part will prevent further damage and a further increase in repair costs.
