Configuration types

Vertical offset

Most common configuration: the input shaft is positioned above the output shaft, with both shafts parallel to each other.

Coaxial / no offset

The input and output shafts are aligned on the same axis (no vertical offset).

Down-angle

The input shaft is positioned above the output shaft. The output shaft is angled and therefore not parallel.

V-drive

The input and output shafts are located on the same side. The output shaft is angled and therefore not parallel.

Diagonal offset

Shaft offset to starboard (right) or port (left).
